What if it rains?

In all the years of the Cruise  for Cancer to date we have always enjoyed good weather. However safety is always our first priority and should the weather conditions be difficult then the Harley Owners Group President, in consultation with local police, will assess if conditions allow for the safe and proper running of Cruise for Cancer.  If it is decided that the ride has to be cancelled for safety reasons then all participants will be invited to enjoy an alternate program.  No refund in full or in part shall be made for cancellation due to unsafe conditions on the day of the Cruise for Cancer. All monies will still be forwarded to the Queensland Cancer Fund.

Where can I park?

There is ample street parking around Queens Park or there is a car park on the corner of Chalk Drive & Hume St. Please note all cars and vehicles are parked at the risk of their owners.

What should Pillions wear?

For comfort and safety, you must wear appropriate clothing - long pants, closed shoes and suitable jacket. Synthetic pants are not suitable as they risk damage to both bike and passenger by melting on hot exhausts! Eyewear (sunglasses) are essential - an insect impact at 100kph does a surprising amount of damage! Don't forget your sunscreen!. Gloves are also recommended.

Bags: For safety reasons, you will not be able to carry bags or similar on your bike. Personal equipment can be placed on the bus.

Will there be a commemorative photo?

Each Pillion will receive a commemorative photo of the event taken during the day as part of their registration fee. This will be posted to pillions in the month after the event.
