Darling Downs HOGClick here to visit our club website The Darling Downs H.O.G.® was founded in 1990 by a group of motorcycling enthusiasts who wanted a group of like-minded people to ride their Harley’s with. DDHOG now averages a membership of between 80 and 100, covering a huge area from Goondiwindi to Charleville, down to the Lockyer Valley and Brisbane. Members cover all walks of life; professionals and tradesmen. There are H.O.G.® chapters all over the world with Australia having the 2nd largest number after the USA. All H.O.G.®chapters are sponsored by a Harley-Davidson dealer. In the Darling Downs region, Darling Downs Harley-Davidson®, based in Toowoomba, sponsor and support the Chapter. Chapter members’ travel all over the world to attend rallies. Harley Days is the national annual event for Harley-Davidson each year. Harley-Davidson also support state H.O.G.® rallys. The rallies are a good excuse to travel nationally and internationally to catch up with other HOG’s. Many enthusiasts ship their bikes overseas for their riding holidays or hire them from local dealers. As well as being essentially a social club, DDHOG has run the Cruise for Cancer for many years together with Rotary Club Toowoomba City, with all funds raised going to the Cancer Council of Queensland. We strive to uphold the H.O.G.®motto of “Ride and have fun”.
