One person is diagnosed with cancer every 18 minutes in Queensland. Sadly, all of us know someone who is affected.
Our goal is to raise $10000.00 to sponsor a room at Cancer Council Queensland’s Olive McMahon Lodge, Toowoomba. The Olive McMahon Lodge provides vital access to life saving cancer treatment to regional Queenslander’s by providing an independent living facility that is a home away from home for those who need to travel, at no cost to the patient. Funds raised over the $10000.00 benefit the Cancer Council Queensland’s vital Cancer, Research, Patient Support and Prevention and Early Detection programs.

22nd Anniversary Dinner
The Cruise for Cancer is a great community event where everyone has a day of fun, laughter, good company, no cares or worries and 100 + roaring Harleys!! Organised by Darling Downs Harley Owners Group (HOG) and Rotary Club Toowoomba City. Traditionally Harley-Davidson riders come together to give the community the chance to experience the thrill and freedom of riding pillion on the back of these magnificent machines while raising funds for such a worthy cause. Unfortunately like many things COVID-19 has meant we have to change the way we do things, while we cannot offer our pillion seats to the community again this year there are still ways you can join in and help us celebrate the 22nd Cruise for Cancer. There will be a Show N Shine at Darling Downs Harley-Davidson on Saturday morning the 26th August and a special 22nd Anniversary Dinner at the Burke and Wills Hotel on Saturday night. Then on Sunday Harley-Davidson riders and their pillions will roar off for the 22nd Cruise for Cancer.
